Generally speaking, the screw conveyor adopts the standard unloading arrangement, restricts the unloading of materials through the unloading port, and directly sends the materials to the subsequent equipment or storage device. Today, I will tell you about five unloading arrangements besides the standard unloading arrangement:

1. Layout mode I of screw conveyor: manual adjustment and multi-point unloading

The layout of screw conveyor often requires multi-point feeding, which needs to be adjusted manually. When only one feed port needs to be opened in a given time, it is not allowed to overload the conveyor when the limit gate or switching device is open. At the same time, open more than one feed inlet and carefully adjust and limit the flow of each feed inlet so that the total amount does not exceed the design capacity of the conveyor. When multiple feed inlets need to be fully opened and feed to the conveyor at the same time, the total material flow is controlled.

2. Layout mode II of screw conveyor: unloading in the middle and straight falling at the opening

The material falls directly through an opening at the bottom of the spiral groove. Generally, it is used for unloading in the middle of the device. There is no need to stop unloading at this point until there is no blanking difference (for example, it is used for unloading to the material warehouse) Screw conveyor to complete the unloading layout without connecting pipe.

3. Layout mode 3 of screw conveyor: local support and end unloading

The materials are directly discharged through the opening at the end of the spiral conveyor tank, and then supported by the local end plate, and the bearing is installed on the flange at the end. (Note: This unloading method cannot be used when the filling factor of screw conveyor exceeds 0.45)

4. Layout mode 4 of screw conveyor: bottom opening, stacking and unloading section

It is used for discharging and distributing materials to the hopper, silo or warehouse stack. At the bottom of the spiral trough of the screw conveyor, the materials are unloaded through an opening of any required length. The materials are piled up to form a natural pile, and the subsequent materials are sent to the unloading section through the pile.

5. Layout mode V of screw conveyor: hanging support and end unloading

The spiral of the tail section of the screw conveyor is supported by standard suspension bearings. This form of unloading arrangement can freely unload materials to silos or stockpiles and similar places. So as to realize the unloading layout with open end.
